No, their were parts missing off the old pedal box (bushes) it had been bodged by a previous owner, a new ratchet was fitted 1st & this didn't make any difference as it wouldn't adjust correctly as their was so much play in the pedal because half the bits were missing, bought a box from the breakers & made one good one out of both & now it feels perfect.
