hi mate thats not the hose iam on about on the front of the engine theres the metal breather tank , fitted on the upper right hand side theres the pcv valve with a rubber hose that then connects to a metal pipe which sit right on top of the gearbox under the coil pack and then turns back to a 90 degree rubber hose that fits to a fitting on the back righthand side of the cylinder head , under the cam sensor .
have you changed the lambda sensor mate , try unplugging it then drive it as mine drove fine when unplugged.
could also be a dodge fuel pump or injectors , try checking the fuel pressure
