I have a spare xr2i efi head and wanted to have it machined and use it on my rs turbo. I will use a new cam, valves, rockers etc
Also is the inlet manifold and injector rails etc all the same??? basically to make it easier: what can i use from an xr2i engine inorder to build an efi rs turbo engine??? I have alot of spares lieing around and thought i could start a new project.
hi i beleive the valves are the only major difference as they are hardened or sodium filled on a turbo head to withstand the heat/boost
an xr2i head will fit and work well .................................................. .................................................. ......
until the valves melt and ruin your bottom end
and for the other poster asking about the rockers ......
am pretty sure you can just bolt them on no probs
