No, this has nothing to do with my own experiences. The claims culture is fucking up this country. It's forcing all companies to implement ridiculous, time consuming and largely pointless H&S policies because they're all shitting their pants about getting claimed against. Not to mention our ever increasing insurance premiums.

Once upon a time people used common sense and the world got on fine. Now because of you and your co-horts we're forced to endure huge amounts of H&S bullshit, absurd restrictions and are told that there's actually no such thing as common sense.

Here's a prime example - My parents live next to a really nice park. A note has gone up on the gates that they're going to close it for a while because they're going to have to chop down the oldest trees 'in case they fall and injure someone'. Apparently someone sued the council because a branch hit them in a gale and now they're having to cut down hundreds of beautiful old trees.

The escalating claims culture is steadily eroding the country and it's only going to get worse. If you're happy to line your pockets off the back of it, then that's your decision. I know I couldn't.
