I wasn't implying anything different, and fully understand that he wants to know where he stands. My comment was directed at how some people think they deserve money even if they've been a twat, and the ambulance chasers are only too keen to encourage them to profit from it.

If this injury was a fault with the employer - guards missing, no training etc - then claim away, but unfortunately many claims 'specialists' aren't bothered about who's at fault, just how much they can make.
