I am looking after a mate's dog and it bit me now I am stuck up on the kitchen sideboard and I cant get down as it will bite me again its barking its head of and Im scared what do I do?

Does anyone have a pole with a thingy at the end so he can be caught so he wont bite me again?

PLEASE HELP I MIGHT BE UP HERE ALL NIGHT!!
