Oil/filter change, turn the engine over by hand a few times, then unplug king lead and crank for 10 seconds or so to get the oil round, then start.

The things that make the CVH unreliable are the same things that will make a ZVH unreliable........... the 20 year 'managemant' unless your EFI?
IMO and certainly as you are not after big power stay with the CVH, ZVH requires big money spent on the head, turbo, etc..to be a nice drivable car.
