Default Project Random
Right, this is my '97 Ford Escort mk6, when I bought it it was as standard as anything apart from a badly wired stereo, which is all sorted now thank god, anyway, this is how it stood when I got it;




First off, needed to change those boring old wheels, so I slapped on a set of 15" BK333, I know they leave a lot of gap between the wheels and the arhces, but then that leaves for plenty of drop when I eventually get my coilovers;




As for that black front end, a week after I got the car I had a little collision on a roundabout with another vehicle, so a face lift bumper was slapped on along with a new bonnet and wing then treated to a fresh coat of paint;




While all that work was going on a picked up some white dials down my local scrapyard;


Next on the agenda was that tiny little pea shooter of an exhaust, so one call to powerflow and one trip to A14 Performance in Bury St Edmunds later, I had a nice cat back system fitted with a twin 4" pipe;



Next was the tunes, at first I put some Sony 6x9s on my parcel shelf along with a fusion amp and mutant 12" sub in the boot with a Sonichi DVD headunit to power them, but sadly they didn't last all that long, in april everything went wrong with my audio, first my sub blew, then the amp died, then I lost the fascia for the headunit! So I gave up with all that, I binned the 6x9s as well, got bored of them, and now have 2 12" sony explod subs in the boot powered by a 2400watt juice amp and a 1.2 farad power cap, I have an old headunit to power all this in the mean time, oh and my factory front speakers died a death as well, so they were replaced with some alpine coaxiels;








Now, whenever I looked at the front of the car all I could see were those horrible fried egg indicators, so, out with the old in with the clear;



Now I know your thinking this was called project random, but where is the random, well it all starts here, first, I may have gone a bit mad with some neon spray paint;







Now, at the moment I don't have the car as it is away having a new head gasket fitted, but, when it returns, I have this little lot for it;
a new pioneer headunit, courtesy of the guys at Rudie Mods;


Got a new air filter to bolt on courtesy of my mate phil;


An Escort cosworth splitter, that will be painted a bright shade of lime green;


And then this is a just a small amount of all the alphabet magnets that will be apperaing inside and/or outside the car;


My rear window is also covered in stickers but havn't got a pic of that at the moment, so, I know its not to everyones taste but still let me know what you think.
