From what i know of cast iron it needs to be elevated to temps way higher than 100 deg c to be normalized or hardened and any hardening that does occur is limited.
Aint any theory behind anything , Ade will find out if heat cycles & perlonged use make it last with 700bhp, if it dont he will require a new Block. Daves warped in the mid 600's & mine did the same at about 750bhp we know another Tuner has had the same probs at these levels. If we had any theory on these Blocks we would not have used the B****y things
