Consider yourself lucky you only have this one problem .

We have metal 25ltr paint drums (average 12 per week) and because they once contained paint we cant weigh them in for scrap or dump them anywhere , the cheapest way of getting rid of them is to pay per tin plus haulage which on average costs me around £800 per month . Then we have the used masking paper which because it has paint on it cant be recycled so the only way of getting rid of it is to take it up the farm and burn it on the bonfire !

The whole rubbish issue has been caused by the fact that most tips are now owned by private firms that make money from the recycling side of things , so anything that cant be recycled or is considered "trade waste" is not wanted and frowned upon .
