i have my escos on a spit just now for the floor getting painted (tonight) but i would would advise take as much as possible of and really dont think its a good idea if your cutting your floor as it my weaken the car and twist the chassis i would say do it on the floor but thats imoa not wanting to do all that and twist the shell as Barry has said

"why dont you get a frame so you can tip it on its side"

that would be a safer idea but still take everything off
