you would be better off just making up and adapter, or changing the snail for a normal one.
ive machined them out before, and you can get enough out of them for around 39mm iirc, it did enough power the lad wanted and cost him not alot so all was well, i guess if your ringing its neck for over 400hp then you might need something else made up
