Default From the UK to Mongolia in a Capri!!!
They are in Cologne right now and doing well. Except for Andrew he got sick and will join them along the trip. What follows below is what we are trying to post to as many Capri/Ford websites as we can to drum up support! Do your part. Spread the word and donate money if you can!!!


A couple friends of mine are competing in a Charity Rally from London to Mongolia and back this month. They are driving a 1980 European Ford Capri.

Norm Murdock from Ohio, and Larry Wells, from New Jersey are partnered with the car owner from the UK named Andrew Emmett to make this tough journey. Norm is a co driver while Larry is helping with car preparation and logistics.

The trip will be 12-18K miles over 5 mountain ranges and through 2 deserts in < 1 month using a 1980 Ford Capri with a 2.0 4 cyl. engine.

Here is the link to their Mongolian Rally web site and since it is a charity event, donations are always welcome.

They will be blogging during the event as internet access permits.

The Capri Mailing list has decided to help by promoting this event to as many forums as we can. Feel free to help out and donate if you can! 100% of donations go to charity!
