sounds like you have been very lucky then. i have known of of very expensive hks items to crack and fail due to no brace, mine is an xs power 200sx one, and its got a brace lol
they were japspeed manifolds and not lucky i have made four of them two on escorts and two on fiestas none of them have ever cracked.
