The seller told me he'd owned the car "about 18 months". The date of the insurance total loss per HPI was 20 April 08. Call me a cynic, but he must know the history. He also gave me some BS on the phone that he'd spoken to the previous owner and they'd confirmed it wasn't HPI recorded. Also the V5 is not in his name as "it would only have added another owner to the log book".

Personally, I'd steer well clear of this one.
