Again, no it's not. People seems so hung up on shit like this. So what if Apple have cleverly made a marketing ploy to make millions of dollars of profit? THEY ARE A TRADING COMPANY! THAT'S WHAT THEY DO!

You buy the product cos you like it, simple as that. Don't bitch and moan that it doesn't have a certain feature, or the battery life is shit, or it has no buttons, or you don't like the look of it, or the company that makes it earns loads of money selling it - buy cos you like it, or don't buy it cos you don't like it! It's not rocket science! If you like it, why would you NOT buy it cos Apple earn a lot of profit from it? Thats just stupid! Thats like saying you like bread, but won't buy it cos Tesco make profit from it

The problem with the iPhone is it's an Apple product. And like Apple products, it's very successful and popular. Which, like nearly all Apple products, makes it an instant target for "haters" (I hate using that term, it's so pathetic, but it was the only term that fitted) that love to jump on the imaginary band-wagon of slagging off Apple and their products.

I am not an Apple fan-boy by any means. I own an iPod and an iPhone. No Macbooks or iMacs (tho having used them I know I'd rather have one than the crappy Windows machine I do have), so I am not defending them because I'm "in love" with them. But for some reason it is seen to be cool to "hate" on Apple for some reason!

So like I said - buy a phone, or whatever product, because you like it and it has the right features for what you want. Don't buy it because it is or isn't made by whatever company, and don't buy it cos "it's cool". Likewise don't NOT buy it because it's made by whatever company, or because it's "popular" or "cool". Just buy cos you like it, or don't buy it cos it's not for you!
