The first comes out, everyone buys it cos it's new and fancy, get hooked on it, but wish it had 3G speeds. So the 3G comes out and everyone buys on of those. Then they wish it had MMS and video recording. So the MMS firmware is released - at the same time a new iPhone with video capability is released. Guess what? Everyone buys one of those So Apple have essentially sold the same phone three times over - pretty clever marketing IMO!
