A similar thing happened on the Ely bypass in Cardiff a few years ago - a biker lost it on a sweeping corner in the rain, a van behind him went over him and he was flipped up behind the engine and front wheel well, it took the van a few hundred yards to stop and the driver ran back to only find the bike.
It took them a few hours to get him out but he was alive, his leathers and the wet road protected him, it was reported in the local paper at the time
