Hi people, after a little advice to do with ignition timing. I have put another engine in my rs it a standard engine, if I come off the throttle now its poping and banging through the exhaust at medium to high revs. the engine has got all the original sensor on it the TPS is set correctly aswell, only reason i ask about ignition timing is i have had to change the distributor last week, i set the timing back roughly where is was.
does the timing alter to do with mods at all?
it is a standard engine with standard cam, its got a stage 1 t3 and a big intercooler, runing a bar of boost. Thanks in advance
