Up for sale due to getting a Quafie straight cut box.

The gearbox I took in part ex on a Zetec engine I was selling. I was told at the time it had an RS1600i competition car close ratio gearset in it and a brand new Series 2 Ford LSD.
I then sent the gearbox away to CTS who stripped it down and confirmed that the LSD was brand new and the gearset was a much shorter ratio set than any RS1600i or Series 1 they had seen and had used them before (whenever they were able to get hold of a set) to build BC gearboxes for 1/4 mile racing as the ratios were good for this. They also offered to swap me for a set of standard gears in a deal with the box re build but i declined.
Anyway they re built the box to Stage 1 Spec with brand new bearings, gaskets, selector forks and 4 bolt end casing with a reciept for the rebuild costing £380.
A Brand new CTS stage 1 box is £495+ exchange ro surcharge.
I'm asking £450. It's basically a brand new gearbox.
Will come as a bare box with no mounts.
