Agreed, even if you didn't like/appreciate his music, if you look before the child abuse allegations etc when he was still performing he was an amazing performer and made a massive contribution to the pop world.
The sales figures speak for themselves imho. Thriller is still the highest selling album of all time and is a long way ahead of the next nearest album.
