I'm fairly new around here and am starting to look for an escos. Most of the ones around are modified - many to stage 3 - and I quite fancy having that sort of power level!

I'm 41 and live in a fairly sensible post code - in West Sussex. I've got a clean licence and no claims (ever!) - also got a good track record of driving performance cars (260bhp impreza, 210bhp caterham, Nissan 350z, Nissan GTiR, 205 Mi16 to name a few). Car will be garaged, 5000 miles and year and SDP and occasional commuting only - used as a second car.

I've seen an escos with 360 bhp - so have based insurance quotes on this. Best quote so far is £637 with Need 2 Insure. Adrian Flux came in at £890!

Performance Direct are going to call back tomorrow - they're referring it to the insurers. I'll also try A Plan and Greenlight.

Where can I get a sensible quote??
