Ah, I thought it was something like that Chris - the 3-door one is 14mm I think but I'm not sure how the way it is mounted affects the roll stiffness compared to the 16mm one on a Sapphire 2wd.
Tony from Turbosystems also reckoned the Escort Cosworth type bar was too stiff for a Sapphire and makes the car a bit 'snappy' at the rear on a road car. The Sapphire 4x4 one is 18mm so might be a nice compromise if you want to change from a smaller diameter. You can also get a 'halfway house' one in between the Sapphire 4x4 and Escort Cosworth diameters.
Depends on how you drive and other factors though.
Probably best to try one change at a time and evaluate the diff mount first
