The harder it is to apportion blame, the more likely it is to go knock-for-knock. Unless there's an injury claim the insurers don't like to spend money fighting for who's guilty, they just agree on KFK. Does seem like an 'odd one' though!

Where the glass is is where the impact was - but they ain't gonna send out a crash investigator
