No way would i go for 45 profile on 17 rim, the overall diameter will be massive approx 635mm, in comparision to std wheel/tyre of about 590mm.

What i may do is search for suitable 8x16 wheel (if there is one) to fit over my 335 brakes and get 225/45 16 that would be spot on.
