Looking towards my next car, car number 27, been driving 5 years, 24 years of age.

Reasons why im looking at these 2? Well for one the ST24 advantages being the V6, which ive never owned before, something different from the run of the mill N/A petrol engine, and they are a lot of car for the money with most of the toys and a good one can be had for around £1000 - £1500, disadvantages, rear arch rot, sill rot, general rot, and if the engine hasnt had the metal impellor waterpump swap i heard its pretty likely the engine would have failed by 80,000 ish miles? Around 20 of my 26 cars have been fords.

Then i looked towards the Phase 3 GTI6 306, also can be had for around the same price, same sort of power as the ST24, but with a 6 speed box, being French, its a tin can, now i owned a Phase 1 S16 which i heard is basically a GTi6 with a 5 speed box? and i loved it,pulled so well, was so lairy, could throw it into any bend or roundabout at speed and it wouldnt bite back, best £500 id ever spent on a car... disadvantages yes its French the S16 i had, it wouldnt start on a flat, well it would but it would take ages, and had some other electrical gremlins which saw it get dismantled for parts and a 12 inch grinder took to its shell...

Can't work out which i want.. arghh!!
