The cost of them I found in an EVO mag a couple of months ago when they reviewed it.
Jtech - I have absolutely no doubt that he was telling the truth. Porsche claimed that they were expensive but lasted ages - the trouble is that they chip rather easily, which requires a new disc - ouch!!!
Mind you - zero brake dust I am told - which would be nice!

So how much longer(miles wise) with similar use would the ceramic brakes be supposed to last than the steel alternative?
On the "Datsun" that is I'd say the carrera GT is ceramic only
