Firstly I can't see the pics (firewall type rubbish at work), BUT if it's the side mounts on the bumper they can be easily modified as I have done it many times in the past.
You have to be very careful mind!
Basically i drilled a hole right through the bracket where the centre of the original bit that mounts to the car was. I had 3 or 4 bumpers i've done this to, but not sure if any of the knackered ones i have justnow have this ( i can take a pic if i can find one i've done) as i had a clearout and replaced the ones on the car with unbroken items. I remember i had to remove one of the plastic rivets out of the bracket so i could prise it far enough away from the bumper to bet a long m10 or similar bolt through from behind the bracket.

Then i just made sure the whole on the car matched up with the OD of the bolt i used and it sits in there just fine, you can put a nut on it from the back but from experience it didn't need it if you make the hole tight enough just to fit around the bolt.
