Its not just the one leg, the other back leg he's missing quite a lot of his paw. They said they could amputate the seriously f*cked leg, and try and sort his paw and damage to other leg, but they doubt his other leg would survive, the amount of suffering he's been thru today, and he'd have to go thru in future, with the possibility of not making a full recovery, it wouldn't be fair to put him thru it. We've been to say goodbye to him, he's heavily sedated, and out of it. I sat with him when they gave him the shot, stroked him til the end.
