Spot on there, i'm a store manager for co-op and my staff must ask anyone who appears to be under 25 for I.D. for any age related sale. The majority of my staff are students and my store is by a college so all thier friends come in-and they will all be asked for I.D. regardless if my staff know them or not-the students now know this and all carry appropriate I.D.

You say the guy knows your age and should't ask but to be fair think how many people they have go through the store a day.....you have one face to remember (his) he could have hundreds!!! At the end of the day they are only doing their job and if they didn't ask you they could lose it.

Simple answer is carry I.D!!!!!!!
