I always thought all that balancing did was make the engine rev nicer, And you could rev higher without it rattling itself to bits.

Most people just consider it balanced if the clutch and flywheel are balanced too.

In my opinion it wouldnt make much difference but im not a tuner, I know martin made a big deal of my clutch and flywheel not being balanced with my engine.
