on one road i got caught at well above the motorway speed limit, foot to the floor in 5th thinking the cars running good for once - when a car pulls out behind me and puts the blues on - needless to say i was glad i was wearing brown pants as my speed decreased

I pulls over to the hard shoulder, and proceed to get one of the longest lectures and a car examination I have ever had off the plod - some 35 mins later we start talking about the car, and what i have done to it.

50 minutes after i get pulled - he casually says to me - see you dont get anywhere any quicker when you drive fast - and if id had you in my sights much longer youd have lost your licence but i decided to pull you before the 3 miles, now if your not out safely out of my sites in the next 60 seconds you can have your points
