Was on the way to work on my private test track, which was the M11 at the time. Nice and clear road first thing in the morning so I nailed it. Wasn't driving like a loony, over taking when cars moved out the way kept distance when they did.

So flat out in 5th over a ton and move over to get off for the junction onto the M25 when I noticed a black BMW behind me, lights on and I shat myself. I was hooning it for quite a while and I had no idea how long he had been behind me.

Pulled over engine off, hazards on and walked round to the back of the car as the cop got out and put on his jacket.

"I'm guessing you know how fast you was going dont you?" He said.
"Yes officer." I said
"And that wasn't the speed limit wasn't it?"
"No officer."
"Where were you off too in such a hurry?"
"I'm running late for work sir." I replied."
"Your going to be even later now aint ya son?"
"Yes officer."
"Well I clocked you at over a hundred, and your damn lucky I'm on my way to get my speedo calibrated or I would be taking you to court. Now piss off and slow down."

Never felt so relived in my life.
