mine was this morning, and fucking lucky too!

took a phonecall from work this morning, and needed to check paperwork so pulled onto hard sholder of the m4...

done and dusted set off again and as i rejoined the motorway, i kept my boot in (so about 80 lol)

anyway a vectra went past me and pulled in front, we were then doing about 90 at this point, and i did notice a few arials and wires etc in the back, so it should have fucking clicked... but it didnt

so i went for the overtake and moved into lane 3 and passed at around 95.... now i had a good glance over to see if it was a copper, and it just looked like a normal guy in a black jacket

but of course it wasnt...

i pulled into lane 2, then 1 and slowed to about 70 and so did he, then inevitable blues came on and my arsehole fell out.

busted.

he gets out and comes up and opens the door and says, 'now, ive got one of these vans at home, and you must have been going flat as they wont go much quicker than that' to which i agreed

i also didnt have a front numberplate on for speed camera stealth

then he gets out the breathalyser and id had a couple of beers the night before, so at this point, i was shitting a brick.

the result of that was totally fine which was good, and he goes on to say that had i been doing 80 most coppers would do nothing (i got pulled over a few months ago for passing a copper at 75 and got let off lol)

and as it was more than 80, hed have to report me for speeding...

i quickly nailed the number plate back on to avoid a £30 fine and then asked about what i have to do now hes reported me. he said nothing, as its my lucky day and he hasnt reported me, and to just slow the fuck down, as these things dont stop well from 80, to which i replied that i crashed my van a little while ago too lol.

so i wiped my arse, and the rest of the day didnt see above 70 lol

end of the day, the guy was a legend and there are some good ones about, as to be fair he was only doing his job, and i held my hands up to beign a silly cunt.
