What I presume you are essentially after is a "gated test", which can be done using a configurable dash / ECU. The Stack AFR has the ability to be set up in DataPro Designer, so that varios AND/IF/OR logic gates are used to ensure that the lambda display only operated in a specific way
.
Alternatively, the simplest method would be to use the WOT switch on the gauge to be triggered by a pressure switch instead, so that the alarm warning feature is triggered above X-boost pressure. Basically the Stack can be made to operate in almost what-ever way you want

Hardly a gimmick IMO.....
Fair point about a pressure switch, I have done similar to add pressure sensitivity to nitrous kits before, with the WOT input and a pressure switch I can see it being quite useful, although obviously still no match for a decent ECU in the first place of course!
On the subject of stack gauges, have they pulled their finger out their arse over the EGT one yet, last I heard they couldnt actually get the 0-5v output working that they have been advertising it as having for the last year or so?
Dave said he still had one on backorder from you, so I assume thats cause they are still dicking around themselves over it rather than any delay your end?
