should have said that polish/compounding is done at 5/6 and the weight of the machine is stopping it spinning.cant imagine that slight side to side movment is good enough for swirl/scratch removal,actually it isnt because the swirl/scratchs remain after.

got from uk so send back is a hassle/cost if i can do some thing myself.
