as said above tey are designed to stop with too much pressure.tbh the products should be doing the work not your arms.
ive had mine for a fair while (and i sell them at work) and never had an issue with it at all.

if you are in doubt take it back to the supplier and they can send it for testing(will take a few weeks though)
