That depends which XR4x4 box you mean. The V6 gearbox has longer mainshaft and fifferent bell-housing and bolt pattern and will not fit 4pot engines. The 4pot (2.0i 8v DOHC) XR4x4 MT75 fits Pinto, DOHC and YB engines. Not sure if it fits the CVH engine.
