Hi
I'm looking for suggestions for a good motor engineer/mechanic to do some work to my van. I'm looking to have the engine changed to an 1800 zetec and an RS2000 brake upgrade (including rear discs).
I have had a quote from my insurers who say if the work is carried out by a professional it will not effect my premium
Another reason for not doing it myself is I have never handled something this size and since my van is my only ride I want to make sure it will work
I just thought I'd ask around for suggestions first before I hand my van over to 'dodgy mechanic X' and his big hammer etc...
I'm based in North Notts so anywhere between Nottingham and Sheffield ideally.
