right just for anyone with same problem and using the search function

problem sorted was as tabetha stated dowel was holding oil pump housing slightly skewed
also fitted new jackshaft and aux wheel bearing in block ...combination of both has now sorted it .....
dizzy finally sits in flush to block and aux wheel spins freely when all bolted up
