Have you ridden a modern YZ250? If not i'd recommend a go on one. They're pretty much like a four stroke to ride. No really noticable band like there used to be, just monster fast all the time
. Mine was a 2004 yz and it was the first motocross bike i'd had. Found it alot easier to ride fast than my mates 125's and 250f's. Only ever had one go on a crf450 and didn't like that at all.
