If you don't mind a bit of elbow grease I got some of that metal polish from Halfords in the same kind of plastic bottle that they do colour restorer, but it's in a silver pack. It's very slightly abbrasive but not bad and if you give them a good going over with that it should do the job. I had a similar issue with my MR2 and it brought them up like new.
