Decided today to start a fresh, so I spent the day stripping the engine bay out and literally bar master cylinders and steering rack (for obvious reasons) its a fresh new canvas.
The car will stay FWD, it will retain a Zetec engine but with new spec + parts that can handle the power and realibly too.
More frustrated that I miss the summer track diary, but that is spurring me on to get things going and bring it back from the dead.
Black armbands at Classic Ford show for me this weekend
Will update my resto accordingly over the next few weeks and highlight the changes planned.
Got to say though im thankful for peoples replies and support, albeit taking the piss at the start it sure has kept spirits high.

For anyone running a fairly high spec zetec engine or even one with a fairly standard spec.
BE WARNED OIL PUMPS ARE THE WEAK POINT! DO NOT RISK IT
