My car also floods occassionaly so well worth looking at - I usually remove the plugs and let the engine vent overnight. I usually put some tissue over it loosley just in case of crap getting in too.

Some CPS have been known to fail from new, but you have a good spark??

The only other possible thought is a leaky injector. These cause a hydraulic effect that is a bit like the timing shifting slightly when you try and start the car. This was my mates problem and it took ages to work out.
