Default Sunday June 7th - Buttertubs Pass, North Yorkshire

On Sunday the 7th June, Myself and a couple of chums are going upto the Buttertubs Pass in North Yorkshire/Cumbria way.

Anyone who fancies tagging along for a fantastic road drive on one of the best roads in the country is more than welcome to come (I have put this on the BMW5 forum aswell).

Just incase you are unfamiliar with the Buttertubs Pass, it is where Top Gear do a lot of filming - namely when Clarkson re-drove his Escort Cosworth and tested the new Jaguar, Merc and the new M6 Convertable

The nearest town is Hawes and I'm pretty sure that there will be some rather scrumptious pubs up there for a spot of grub and a refreshing drink

Meeting place will be on the "Upper Wenslydale Business Park" in Hawes (Just off "Burnt Acres Road") at 10am then for a couple of trips up the Buttertubs to take in the stunning scenery and road.

Then maybe a trip over to Ribblehead for a photo opportunity at the Ribblehead Viaduct (which is only a few miles away from Hawes)

Open invitation so anyone is welcome - obviously this is no official meet but one that the scenery lovers will nodoubt enjoy

A little video of the Buttertubs Pass here from the Clarksons Car Years Cosworth feature:
