How old does a car have to be to count as a classic?
How old do YOU need to be to have the policy?
Can you have a classic van i.e my Mk4 Escort RST van?
If its a classic car do you not pay tax or something?
Whats this valuation I hear? Do you need it valued befor you can have the policy?
If any one could help that would be great. Thanks all

insurance companies differ but as a rule the car has to be at least 15 yrs old.

i'm not sure how old you need to be..

you still have to tax the car

you wont need a valuation unless your insuring the car as an absolute minter

you can agree the value of the car but you may need an independant garage to fill in a for stating the condition..

example i am 36 insuring a 3 door cosworth for market value (£8k)
3000 miles per year kept on a drive with no security device...standard except a stainless exhaust....£155 per year......n.c.b. dosent come into it.
