I did a hydraulic on my dads 4i, cost less than £100 but this one had a master cylinder(not reservoir)mount welded to the pedal box, then reservoir mounted on bulkhead under bonnet.
As said there is no comparison, and I find exactly as above person, it feels more like a heavy throttle pedal than a clutch!!
