Hi all

The oil temperature gauge in my st170 used to sit bang on half way all the time, no matter under what conditions, sitting idling in below freezing temperatures, or being driven hard on a hot summers day.

I have noticed lately that the gauge only gets up to half way when I am giving it some stick, otherwise it will drop to about 1/4 on the gauge, maybe sometimes lower, it'll just be off the bottom of the gauge.

Any ideas what could be up? It doesn't have an oil cooler and the water temperature sits bang on half way at all times.
