I fucking hate painting.

I've done the whole house in the last 6 months although most of it was onto new plaster so keying up wasn't an issue, just a watered down wash coat.

I read somewhere about loading the roller up then doing lots of big "M"s, then going over each one at a right angle and sort of colouring it in. Seemed to work for me and left all the coats nice and even. It even covered up the obligatory "CUNT" I wrote on one wall which pleased the missus.
