Clark and I both got into it from an enthusiast's point of view, although Clark does have some trade experience too. At the moment we work one car at a time, but later this year we will be expanding and training up a new detailer. God help them - Clark will be a hard taskmaster...

why did you not just use auto glym supreme polish (trade only)that would have done the same with out buffing it or you can use it with a bufer and get really good results

Not true. This car is on contract with us, and even with regular driving, it is easy to maintain in the above condition. 5-6 coats of Zymol Vintage imparts such a crazy slick protective skin that dirt and grime rinses off with ease; it is possible to touchless wash in these situations, meaning no chance of the sub-surface defects returning.
